500 CYRUS

Virtually any short action Magnum bolt face rifle can be converted to the 500 CYRUS. The cartridge is especially suited to compact short barreled guns. Contact us for available options.

50 TAC Rifle Recommendations

If you're looking to have a magazine fed repeating rifle built, the two main action platforms to consider are the Remington 700 Long Action with Magnum bolt face or the Armalite AR30 with Magnum bolt face. Both actions allow for reliable feeding with even the longest .50 BMG bullets. Other actions can be adapted to work with the .50 TAC but will require more extensive customization.

If you're interested in a more economical solution, and are able to deal with single shot feeding your bolt gun, ANY short action magnum bolt face gun can be converted to .50 TAC. This alternative saves considerable money due to eliminating the need for a center feed magazine box. For those who are mainly interested in bench shooting, these single shot rifles offer an alternative to the .50 BMG uppers that are currently being marketed for the AR-15 platform.
